LOBBY/STAIRWELL LANDING
The main foyer at the Henderson House is central to social and corporate functions. The grand staircase is a high visibility location and a prime spot for taking photographs, so it offered a natural location to present artwork. To create an interesting and durable backdrop for this high traffic area, a trompe l’oeil mural was commissioned for the landing. This site-specific niche creates a colorful and functional background, bringing a whole new dimension to the room.

LOBBY/SEATING ALCOVE
To introduce contemporary art to this Tudor Mansion we chose an eclectic presentation of small abstract giclees and arranged them in a single frame above the fireplace. The six limited edition prints display vibrant movement and color, and a classic frame provides a transition between the artwork and the traditional décor. The installation is refreshing and maintains a sense of the unexpected.

DINING AREA
With dark, raised paneling and minimal light this dining area presented multiple challenges. We commissioned a canvas triptych that appealed to the taste of our client and addressed the traditional elements of the setting. The sweeping sky introduces color and light to open up the wall, and the gallery wrap allows for a seamless connection between the pieces.
